Jennifer Prekeges, MS, CNMT, is the Program Chair for the Radiation and Imaging Sciences (RAIS) program and has over 20 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology. She has worked at notable institutions like Providence Hospital and Virginia Mason Medical Center. Initially a clinical technologist, she pursued a Master’s in Radiological Sciences from the University of Washington and helped establish the nuclear medicine program at Bellevue College, where she became a full-time faculty member in 2003. Additionally, she serves as the Radiation Safety Officer at the college, emphasizing safety compliance and culture.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Jennifer, a Whitman College graduate with a degree in Biology and Chemistry, pursued a one-year certificate program in nuclear medicine technology, which led to a rewarding career in the field. She later earned a Master’s in Radiological Sciences from the University of Washington, equipping her to impact nuclear medicine education.
