Erectile Dysfunction Pump: Vacuum Device For Penile Erection Treatment

Best Vacuum Device For Penile Erection Treatment. Medical Impotence Therapy To Draw Blood Into The Penis Using Water Or Air.
Shahrokh Shariat, MD
Senior Editor & Writer

Prof. Shariat has published over 1400 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals. In 2014 he received the Matula Award from the European Society of Urology (EAU), and in 2017 the Gold Cystoscope Award from the American Society of Urology, probably the most important urologist award worldwide.

Should you use a medical impotence penis pump to draw blood into the penis using water or air giving you a harder natural erection and penile rigidity.

After you have practiced and become accustomed to using a vacuum pump for the first time I want you to do this for 20 minutes every day for the next six weeks at least. You know, if every man used an ED pump regularly and I mean roughly 2 to 3 times a week, there would be a lot less erectile dysfunction in the world.

We need to use this organ and challenge it if you will. Especially when you’re adding platelet-rich plasma because we need to cause a little microdamage for the platelet-rich plasma to have something to work on.

If you think about it, platelet-rich plasma is often put into an area of injury where it has a tremendous benefit in healing, collagen production, angiogenesis (which is the new production of blood vessels, new nervous tissue, and things like that). So this is what we’re trying to do, improving erectile quality. Erectile function, sensitivity, pleasure, and all of that stuff.

ED treatment is really simple, there are tons of different protocols, and if you look on the Internet you will find a variety of penile pump, ranging from a battery-powered pump to water pumps (recommended), there are air pumps (NOT recommended), and there are all types of techniques and protocols.

Penile enlargement, for instance, is very much dependent upon pumping as well as using other means and methods. But, using the erection pump is one of the main focuses. Pumping is essential, so we need to stretch the penis, we need to engorge it beyond what you would typically get with an erection, and you will see that it’s pretty impressive what happens.

We Are Encouraging Blood Flow

We are promoting regeneration of the tissue and pumping is pretty easy, it’s a bit of a pain in the neck I’m sure, but it’s hard to do anything for 20 minutes if you’ve got my attention span. You can do it for 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes at night. The more you pump, the better, we don’t want you to be overzealous though.

You can damage yourself if you’re not careful, so that’s why we are going to give you some instructions to help you stay safe.

It is best to use either the BathMate or Penomet pumps. These are both water-based Hydro pumps. The reason we recommend water pumps over air pumps is that water is denser and also more uniform than air. With the nature of water, it becomes possible to create a vacuum that is much more consistent than that of an air-based pump.

Air vacuum devices will eventually, over time result in deformities in your penis causing it to look lumpy and misshapen. It is also much more highly likely to damage and rupture the blood vessels in your penis using an air-based pump for that very same reason.

If you do not care about the risks associated with air-based pumps we would still recommend that you get your hands on either a BathMate Hydro Max or Penomet pump. That’s because even though they are water-based pumps, they can still be used with care (although it’s not as efficient and riskier than using water).

Although The BathMate And Penomet Are Very Similar…

They do have slight variations and sizes so be sure to read our detailed comparison before you make a final decision as to which one you will be using. Also, using a vacuum erection device to cure erectile dysfunction is something that is approved by the FDA and endorsed by health professionals who prescribed penis pumps to patients as a treatment option after penile prosthesis, penile implant surgery, radical prostatectomy, prostate surgery, or after a penile injection.

Don’t get this mistaken though; penis pumps are FDA approved for treating erectile dysfunction. They are not FDA approved for penis enlargement, but they still do enlarge your penis permanently if used consistently and regularly over at least a few months.

So, that’s an added extra positive side effect if you are still on the bench and feeling undecided about using a pump to treat ED.

The Penomet pump will come disassembled, but the BathMate comprises a similar structure that is already assembled. A typical water-based pump such as the two mentioned ( BathMate and Penomet ) consists of a large cylindrical tube.

The BathMate range offers multiple sizes and lengths of cylinders to accommodate penises of different sizes. Most people will require the regular size, but if you have an enormous penis, they offer a pump called the Goliath. If you’re not sure as to which size cylinder will fit you best, hop over to our Penomet vs BathMate comparison and you will see which one will fit you best.

It’s best if you go to their official website so you can see the full range of the pumps they offer and also attachments and various other accessories that will help you along the way. You can visit either www.penomet.com or www.officialhydromaxpump.com. Those are the official websites of Penomet and BathMate, respectively.

I encourage you to hop over to the official websites, get your hands on one of the recommended pumps so you can get the best fitting pump. Air-based pumps usually come with a hand pump that you used to create a vacuum. But water pumps typically come with the Gators attached to the base which is used as a plan.

The new BathMate Xtreme range comes with both a gator as well as a hand pump to increase the intensity of the vacuum even further making it extreme as the name suggests. It is actually, the most powerful pump that is available and no other will be able to match the intensity of the vacuum it can produce.

It’s Pretty Simple…

You get hold of the vacuum pump, make sure the valve at the end is not set to release, fill it with water to the top as you hold it upside down. It is better to use warm water, try to get it as hot as you can withstand (you don’t want to burn your penis) because this will help with stimulating better blood flow too.

You want to insert your penis into the pump slowly and as you do so water will be leaving from the top, overflowing. You want to quickly tilt the pump upwards and bring it close to your body to create a seal as fast as possible. And you want to begin pumping to create the seal. The quicker you do it, the fuller the cylinder will be with water.

As you pump, water will be released from the valve at the end. You want to pump slowly so you can allow your penis to adjust to the negative pressure difference and the blood vessels fill with blood to accommodate the pressure difference. At any point, if it begins to hurt too much you can release the valve at the end, and this will break the seal and release the vacuum. It’s an entirely safe process, and you are always in control.

Remember to listen to your body and not be overzealous. You want to take things slowly and build up resistance incrementally. You are trying to treat your problem of erectile dysfunction not make it worse.

ED pumps come with instructions, and there are plenty of videos that you can watch the figure out what you need to do.

TIP:

If you are using an air-based one you will want to make sure that you’re using plenty of lubrication because you don’t want your penis to be touching the sides of the cylinder on the way in and getting stuck, it can be painful. Again, you won’t have this problem with the water-based pump so stick with the BathMate or Penomet!

Make sure you have trimmed your pubic hair very closely or shaven it. This is so that the base of the cylinder can make a safe and secure seal with the skin on your pelvis. Otherwise, the pump will lose suction, and it won’t work.

Another thing you want to make sure of is when you press the cylinder against the bottom of your penis under the scrotum, this is a very soft tissue, and it’s difficult to get a good seal. You almost have to position it in a certain way, so the cylinder is pushed up a bit, so it creates a seal under the pubic bone. You may need to do a bit of trial and error to form a tight seal, but you will get the hang of it fairly quickly.

You will then start to pump, grab the cylinder with both hands and pull it back into your body. Try not to do it too fast or too slowly, and as you do so, you will feel your penis will be drawn into the cylinder.

What you should be trying to do is pump to the edge of discomfort, don’t go beyond that! Just go right to that edge, maybe stay there for 30 or 45 seconds. Over this duration of 30 to 45 seconds, your penis would have become bigger inside the cylinder as it would have drawn blood into itself.

Allow for your penis to rest in this position for a few minutes until the feeling of discomfort no longer exists. Then repeat by pumping once more to the point of discomfort. You will go ahead and keep doing this and remain pumped for 10 to 15 minutes depending on how you feel.

Don’t Worry…

If initially, you’re not able to stay pumped for a long time, your penis will build up resistance and become stronger the more you do it. Over time, you will manage that which you find difficult right now with ease. You can gauge how much pumping and what kind of progress you are making because the Penomet and BathMate have measurements printed on the tube. The more you pump you will notice that your penis will be beginning to get pumped up to a bigger size and it will continue to grow with a consistent schedule.

It’s kind of like stretching your hamstrings. You wouldn’t go right to the floor as soon as you’ve got up out of bed in the morning, you would go ahead and stretch to the edge of discomfort and hang out there for a minute or so. Then you go a little bit further down, etc. That’s what you’re going to do with penile pumping.

By pumping, you are going to engorge the penis with blood. Don’t be surprised if there is some bruising initially. As long as you followed the instructions and didn’t go in too extreme, it’s nothing to worry about. This is common the first few times you pump because your penis has never experienced being this engorged with blood.

Sometimes You Can Get A Little Sore!

If you are pumping every single day, it’s okay to take a day off, but it’s best if you do this at least six days a week, and seven is even better unless you’re sore. Pump for at least six weeks, and you will see drastic changes in your erectile function. Your penis will become used to being engorged with blood, and you will be astonished by how thick and heavy it would have become. You can even pump a few hours before sexual intercourse, and this will help a lot with erectile dysfunction and impotence.

The BathMate Hydro Max now comes with an extra sleeve which they call a comfort pad which will diminish the soreness problem and make it easier for you to stick to a daily schedule. It also has a beveled shape which helps with getting a good suction on the underside of the penis to draw the penis in.
