Synopsis
Australian videographer Charles MacFarland contends that laws against public nudity are obsolete. His films record women and men as they walk naked in public, usually to the amusement and applause of those who pass them by. Naked In-Sight explores MacFarland's vision of a naked society, where offense at mere nudity is a thing of the past.

Northwest Premiere! Incarnating for an Afternoon: The 9th Annual Nude & Breast Freedom Parade

A film by Marty Kent, 40 min, 2002
Produced by The X-plicit Players (xplicitplayers.com)

Synopsis
Directed by the X-plicit Players, the Parade is a series of spontaneous rituals celebrating the Body and its Liberation. By the 9th Annual, the X-plicits had already staged more than 300 public nude events, played with thousands of people, experienced 23 arrests, and fought and won 4 trials in the local courts.

A mix of freedom-lovers, nudists, voyeurs and innocent bystanders gather, undress and put their bodies together. Their "group body" coalesces in the park, dances into the street for a couple of hours, then returns and gives up the ghost. We watch all this through the eyes of videographers in the midst of the action.

Screening & Award Highlights:
Chosen Best of Festival, Documentary; 2003 Berkeley Film & Video Festival. Previously shown in various public screenings in Berkeley and San Francisco
